im new to the book club. do we meet just once a month after we read the booy Do you find this valuable?

We meet just once a month at the library to discuss the book for that month. Therefore, we read the book ahead of time. If you get the books from the library you sometimes need to request them a head of time if you notice the book has a waiting list. In December we meet at someone's home in Poway and have a pot-luck and discuss December's book. The October book is "Where The Heart Is" by Billie Letts. If you read the book and have a rating (between 0 and 10) but can not make the meeting, send an email and we will record your rating and remarks about the book. My email is: kayandjerome@cox.net. I record the ratings and attendance. Do you find this valuable?
